2025 First Bank Lagos Open Golf attracts more partners
Sunbeth Global Concepts, Glenfiddich, Arravo, and Coscharis have been announced as partners of First Bank of Nigeria Limited for the 64th Lagos Amateur Open Golf Championship.
According to the organisers, Sunbeth Global Concepts and Glenfiddich are Platinum sponsors, while Arravo and Coscharis are Bronze sponsors.
Speaking on the partnership, Manager, Corporate Affairs and Communications at Sunbeth, Abdussamad Abdurrahman said the sponsorship agreement aligns with values for which golf is noted for.
On his part, the General Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Coscharis, Babarinde Abiona, said the collaboration with First Bank is aimed at enhancing the tournament by bringing together golfers and their associates.
He also announced the donation of a BMW as a hole-in-one prize at the tournament.
Dr. Ayo Adegboye, the Chief Executive Officer of Arravo said partnering First Bank is aimed at engendering the growth of golf in the country.
Meanwhile, the tournament major sponsor, First Bank has upped the ante in its quest to continue to promote golf, staking whooping N34.5m cash and other prizes in the 64th edition of the annual Lagos Amateur open
Ayokunle Ojo, Head, Treasury Sales and Derivatives Marketing of First Bank Group who represented Olusegun Alebiosu, the Chief Executive Officer of First Bank said the increased prize money for professional golfers is aimed at elevating the championship and enhancing the development of Professional golfers in the region.
Meanwhile, the 64th Lagos Open will tees off Monday November 17t with Caddies, to be followed by Championship kitty on Wednesday while Corporate Golf Challenge for Charity holds on Thursday.
The main event starts on Friday and runs through to Sunday November 23.
The Lagos Open is an international tournament recognized by USGA and the R&A and its longest running golf tournament in Nigeria.
