Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has opened up about her emotional struggles since joining Brighton & Hove Albion Women, revealing that she often cries due to loneliness.
The Nigerian international, who signed for the English Women’s Super League side after leaving Paris FC Feminine, shared her experience in Nike and Versus’ “Nothing Off the Table” film series.
“It has not really been easy because people just see you come out on the field to play; they don’t know the struggles behind,” Nnadozie said.
The 23-year-old admitted that adjusting to life in England has been emotionally challenging, as she constantly misses her family and former teammates.
