British authorities have announced road closures and temporary airspace restrictions in Windsor ahead of the state visit of President Bola Tinubu, scheduled to begin next week.
Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi, are expected to arrive in the United Kingdom on Wednesday, March 18, where they will be received by King Charles III at Windsor Castle.
In preparation for the visit, Thames Valley Police, in a statement on Thursday, said it was working closely with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, the Royal Household and other security agencies to coordinate extensive security arrangements.
According to the police, permanent airspace restrictions over Windsor Castle will be extended on March 18 from 7:00 am to 11:59 pm, forming part of a broader security operation for the high-profile visit.
