Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 housemates were thrown into shock on Sunday when Big Brother unveiled the final prize money and explained how their decisions inside the house directly impacted the total. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
In a special lounge briefing, the housemates were presented with a breakdown of earnings and deductions. Money had been accumulated through sponsored tasks and weekly challenges, such as:
Sips & Strokes – ₦6,500,000
Walking on Eggshells – ₦2,600,000
Big Brother’s Bakery – ₦800,000
Bodycare Products – ₦2,600,000
Big Brother’s Daycare – ₦3,500,000
Splash & Dash – ₦2,480,000
However, deductions quickly ate into the pool due to indulgences and personal privileges. Notably, Kaybobo spent ₦10 million to buy immunity during the Red Phone Twist. Koyin also requested a family visit and a hair styling session, which came at the house’s expense.
Other luxuries included shawarma deliveries and three-day luxury experiences—though in one humorous twist, housemate Kola declined a pedicure and manicure.
Big Brother reminded the finalists that “every comfort, every reward, and every indulgence comes at a price.” The statement sparked laughter and disbelief among the housemates.
After adding up the earnings and deducting the expenses, Big Brother announced that the final prize money for the Season 10 winner now stands at ₦80 million.
The unexpected twist has heightened excitement for the finale, as fans eagerly wait to see who will walk away with the reduced grand prize.
