Overview
Renowned Nigerian filmmaker and television producer, Kayode Peters, has been laid to rest in Canada.
Peters was buried on Saturday, August 2, 2025, following a funeral service attended by close family members and friends.
A video circulating on social media shows mourners at the interment as the late filmmaker’s body was lowered into the grave.
The service, held in a Christian tradition, was marked by tears and solemn hymns, including the popular “It Is Well,” which guests were heard singing through their grief.
