Overview
Maternal and child healthcare in Imo State has received a major boost as Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, commissioned a 100-bed Mother and Child Centre at Awo-Omamma General Hospital, near Owerri.
The hospital, constructed and equipped by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs), was inaugurated on her behalf by the Wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima.
