Telling us why the marriage ended is more important than telling us the cost of the wedding. The cost of the wedding is never the reason the marriage ended.Wedding reception quality does not determine marriage quality.
The poorest marriage can begin with the richest wedding reception, while the richest marriage can begin with the poorest wedding reception.
A poor marriage can begin with a poor wedding reception, and a rich marriage can as well begin with a rich wedding reception.
I keep using "Wedding reception", not just "wedding", because what is expensive is not wedding itself but the reception that follows the wedding.
Wedding reception is about public entertainment, not about the state of the marriage. Entertain the public well if you can afford to. But, don't use the entertainment to predict your marriage.
