Over 250 golfers to battle for honours at Ibadan Open
The Ibadan Open Golf Tournament is set to make history as more than 250 golfers registered within just 24 hours ahead of the highly anticipated event scheduled for November 14–16 at the Ibadan Golf Club (IGC).
Captain of the IGC, Seyi Alaba, expressed excitement over the overwhelming response, describing it as a reflection of the sport’s growing appeal across Nigeria—particularly in Oyo State.
He said, “Having over 250 golfers registered within just 24 hours shows a lot of enthusiasm and passion for the Ibadan Golf Open. It reflects the growing popularity of the game of golf in the country, especially in Oyo State and the strong interest among participants.”
