Controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has ignited a new online dispute by claiming legal trademark ownership of the popular phrase "Don't Play." VDM, in a circulating video, displayed documents and alleged that he spent nearly one million naira to trademark the phrase, his name, and initials. He accuses music star Wizkid of using the phrase without permission, citing its use by other artists like Kizz Daniel as proof of its influence. Wizkid and his team have not yet responded to the allegations.
