Bode Maxwell-Akinyemi Leaves Vatebra to Explore New Opportunities
Olabode Maxwell-Akinyemi, fondly known as Bode, has announced his resignation as Business Manager of Vatebra Academy at Vatebra Limited, effective March 3, 2025. Vatebra Limited is an ICT company with competency in the delivery of cutting-edge software solutions for businesses, organizations and individuals, having presence in over 3 African countries including Kenya, Rwanda and Sierra Leone with HQ in Nigeria. At just 29 years old, Maxwell-Akinyemi leaves behind a remarkable legacy of innovation, leadership, and impact in Nigeria’s technology education and business development landscape.
During his tenure, which began in June 2022, Maxwell-Akinyemi spearheaded transformative initiatives that elevated and built Vatebra Academy from ground-up into a powerhouse of tech talent development. Leading a dynamic team of over 30 faculty and staff which he built ground-up, he built four digital schools and nine specialized programs, increasing the academy’s revenue and doubling its customer pipeline. Under his leadership, Vatebra Academy trained over 3,000 professionals—from entry-level to senior executives—in high-demand fields such as Data Science, Software Development, Product Management, UI/UX Design, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
Maxwell-Akinyemi’s strategic vision forged impactful partnerships with industry giants like Microsoft Nigeria social capitals, Bank of Industry, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), expanding Vatebra’s market reach to over 200,000 leads. His pioneering efforts also included the Vatebra Women-In-Tech Training project, which empowered women across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, and the Vatebra HR Business Summit, a flagship event with a platform for tech talent acquisition and development with industry stakeholders.
A champion of collaboration, Maxwell-Akinyemi represented Vatebra Limited at the Nigeria Technology Awards, where he celebrated the company clinching the coveted “Tech Company of the Year” title for the eighth time, alongside the “e-Government Consulting Company of the Year” award.
