The section is scheduled for full completion by the first week of May 2026.

Work is also progressing steadily on the remaining 164km stretch in Kaduna State, which is being constructed using the same reinforced concrete pavement standard.

This phase is valued at ₦502 billion, with 70% of the funding already disbursed.

The entire Abuja–Kaduna road project is on track for full completion by December 2026, and will feature comprehensive solar lighting throughout.
