Chukwueze unbothered over Milan bench role - Punch
AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze believes the team’s ambition comes first despite his yearnings for more game time with the Italian giants, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Ahead of their 2-2 draw against Fiorentina on Saturday, the Nigerian was tipped by Italian newspapers to get his first start in recent times having done well off the bench lately, but he was missing from Sergio Conceicao’s starting lineup.
The Nigerian has only started eight Serie A games recently and has started from the bench in their last 11 outings in the competition.
The 25-year-old spoke to the media ahead of the game, admitting that he would have liked to play from the start as was initially expected.
