Mabel Makun Filled With Gratitude After 40th Birthday
Nigerian entrepreneur and ex-wife of Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, Mabel Makun, has posted an appreciation note after marking her 40th birthday. She shared pictures of herself and her two daughters.
The businesswoman says her birthday party was one for the books as she thanked God for making it possible
The post goes, “Monday 30/03/26 and 04/04/26 were one for the books !!! First, to God Almighty, my creator, who made it possible for both days, without whom none of it would have been achievable. Looking back, I am nothing without you, God.”
Makun pointed out that she was overwhelmed with gratitude at seeing all her family and friends who had travelled from far and near to celebrate with her, adding that words cannot express the depth of her emotions as she writes, in capital letters, a big thank you to everyone.
While marking her birthday last week, Mabel celebrated her late mother with a video of herself and her daughters dressed in gold, recounting how she was supposed to do a shoot with her mother, who would have turned 70 later in the year.
