Presidency blasts Ndume over lopsided appointments claim
Senator Ali Ndume’s allegation of lopsidedness in appointments under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not only hypocritical but misleading, the Presidency said yesterday. Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, accused the Borno South senator of being “allergic to facts and addicted to theatrics.”
Onanuga dismissed Ndume’s lopsidedness in appointment claim in a reaction posted yesterday via his verified X handle, @aonanuga1956. The presidential adviser got the backing of Senator Sunday Karimi, who urged his colleague to dissipate his energies on more important issues.
Onanuga’s response came after Ndume accused President Tinubu of favouring certain regions in his recent appointments
