Fayose to Olubadan: We are with you, cautions Makinde to thread softly
Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has expressed strong support for the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, assuring that residents, indigenes, and stakeholders across Oyo State and beyond would not allow the revered stool to be undermined.
Fayose also advised Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde to tread cautiously, noting that while political offices are constitutionally bound and time-limited, traditional institutions such as the Olubadan stool are rooted in divine destiny.
He spoke on Tuesday during what he described as a solidarity visit to the monarch at his Bodija residence in Ibadan.
