Vice President Kashim Shettima @officialSKSM has officially declared the 22nd National Sports Festival @NatSportsComm open on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
In his address, the Vice President conveyed the President's message that sports remains one of the most powerful forces for national cohesion.
The ceremony marks the commencement of Nigeria's premier multi-sport event, dubbed "Gateway Games Ogun 2024," which will feature over 10,000 athletes from across the 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory, and a special team of invited junior athletes.
